*******RARE FIND!!!!********
We have found 50 vintage, genuine, unused, LPWA aluminum duck bands that were left-over from our duck propagation/banding program of the 1950's and 1960's!  They are stamped with the following information: LAKE PLAINS WATERFOWL 128 HOLCROFT RD ROCH 12, N.Y. and then the band #.  The LPWA Board of Directors have approved the sale of the bands with the proceeds from the sale going into a special clubhouse renovation fund.  They will be available for $10 each.  They will be sold "on a first come, first served" basis at general meetings and club events.  The bands are in pristine condition and would make a nice memento or look great on your duck call lanyard.  Help support your club and purchase a nostalgic vintage LPWA duck band while they last.

LESS THAN 10 BANDS ARE LEFT, GET YOURS BEFORE THEY ARE GONE

LPWA MEMBERS HAVE BEEN BUSY CHECKING AND INSTALLING WOOD DUCK BOXES AND MALLARD NESTING TUBES AROUND THE AREA.  SEE PHOTOS HERE

2017 Calendar of Events

Spring is nearly here. And the Migratory Ducks will be arriving soon to breed and raise their young.

Most of the 230+ Lake Plains Wood Duck Boxes have been checked and cleaned out for the return of the Wood Ducks and Hooded Mergansers, that frequently use them. Approximately 100 boxes (closest boxes to Greece) need to be checked between today and April 4th, all within the Braddocks Bay Wildlife Area and the Town of Greece properties . If anyone interested in checking boxes on any of the following days, please contact me at cell number 585-520-4243 (text of call).

March 25th, 26th, and 27th. and

April 2nd, 3rd, and 4th

In addition, if needed, April 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.

I'm flexible, and willing to show you what needs to be done to prepare our boxes for the return of our feathered friends.

Sincerely, Brian Burgeson
